JOEL ENGARDIO
Common Sense. Fiscally Responsible. Socially Progressive. Run with Joel Engardio.
Democrat for San Francisco District 7 Supervisor
Taxes are necessary, but District 7 property owners shouldn’t be San Francisco’s ATM cash machine. Good intentions are not enough reason to spend. Good results are what matter. Programs must be audited for effectiveness.
We must demand the city follow a common sense budget. If only City Hall spent your money like Ava, age 8, manages her allowance.
Dogs and people can safely play and relax together. In an urban setting, our parks must promote recreation and provide shared access for people and pets.
Our kids deserve to walk to neighborhood schools so there’s less time commuting and more time with family at home.
Hepatitis B threatens the Asian community, which is one-third of San Francisco’s population. There’s a vaccine that can save lives and end this silent epidemic.
Can I Knock on 10,000 Doors?

It’s the best way for us to connect one-on-one so you can tell me what matters to you.
I’ll be knocking between 5p and 7p weeknights and 10a and noon weekends. I know it’s a busy time for you. So I’ll be quick, say hi, and hand you my card. If you want to talk, I’m all ears.
If you’re not home, I’ll also be at Muni stops and grocery stores at various times.
That’s me knocking...
Yes, anyone can run with Joel!
You don’t have to live in District 7 to support Joel.
People across the city are donating and volunteering.
Joel wants to encourage innovation and use a common sense approach to preserve and improve San Francisco’s position as a dynamic, unique and relevant city. Join us!
...if you want Joel Engardio to bring more common sense to City Hall in 2012.

“I’m running for supervisor to bring more common sense and innovation to City Hall. We must champion the entrepreneurial spirit to create jobs and fund city programs.
Throughout my career, I have fought for the social issues that San Francisco cares about: marriage equality, immigration and human rights.
As your supervisor, I will fight for the fiscal responsibility and government efficiency San Francisco needs to be a vital and vibrant city that works for everyone. Every effort by City Hall must be held accountable and measured for success.
I’m running for supervisor with fresh ideas, truly indepedent of political insiders. Join us.”
Do we need to cut down thousands of healthy trees simply because they are non-native? Is turning back our botanical clock 200 years a good use of your tax dollars?
Preserve our district character and single-family neighborhoods. Improve traffic flow, roads, parks and schools. Seek better business and housing solutions.
If you have a good idea, City Hall should make it easy to realize. We need more entrepreneurial spirit in San Francisco. The best way to create jobs and pay for what we need is a dynamic local economy.
It’s more than you ever wanted to know about trash collection and fair competition. But there’s an important principle at stake in San Francisco.
